This is a rare, rare, LIVE county musiccollection! We have the entire set of 50 albums that were recorded LIVE at The Lone Star Cafe, New York City’s premier country music cafe club that was located at 61 Fifth at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 13th Street, from 1976 to 1989. Artists including Merle Haggard, Johnny Paycheck, Roy Orbison, Freddie Fender, Charlie Daniels, Billy Crash Craddock, Lacy Dalton, Mickey Gilley, and many more are part of this LIVE album collection. These particular country western LIVE albums were sent to several radio stations around the USA.Clayton Webster Corp was the record company that distributed the LIVE albums for radio play throughout the county, where they eventually made their way to a California radio station in the SF Bay Area.

This is the entire collection of 50 albums from 1980 in their original box, with their original covers, their original program sheets, and their original playlists! The albums which played on the radio throughout the country even have the original commercials from Datsun and Budweiser and historic notes on each artist. Again, this is music that was recorded LIVE from the Lone Star Cafe in New York City.

We were fortunate to find the entire set of 50 albums at an estate here in Northern California. We were told that the albums are untouched except for playing at the radio station. The program playlists came inside each paper album cover. While I did not listen to every album the ones that I did listen to produced a sound that was crisp and clear! And the commercials…what a treat to listen to LIVE commercials!
